Territory Account Manager – R&D Crop Solutions – Mid-North, South Australia

 

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Territory Account Manager to join the high-performing commercial team supporting growers, distributors, and farming enterprises across South Australia’s Mid North and Yorke Peninsula regions.

About the Role

Reporting to the Southern Australian Sales Leader, you’ll take ownership of a key agricultural territory, driving customer engagement, demand generation, and sales growth across a diverse portfolio of crop solutions.

This is a highly autonomous role suited to someone who combines strong commercial capability with technical agricultural knowledge and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a defined sales territory across Mid North and Yorke Peninsula SA

  • Develop strong relationships with growers, distributors, and key farming enterprises

  • Deliver territory sales targets and execute strategic sales plans

  • Provide technical product support and stewardship advice

  • Identify market opportunities and emerging customer needs

  • Support product launches and on-farm demonstrations

  • Participate in field days, trial work, and customer engagement activities

  • Collaborate with national commercial and technical teams

  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and account planning

About You

You’re a motivated agricultural professional who enjoys working closely with customers and delivering practical solutions that create value on-farm.

You Will Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture or a related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial agronomy

  • Strong understanding of agronomy and modern crop production systems

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Commercial acumen with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively

  • Experience in account management or territory sales (preferred)

  • A proactive, self-driven, and collaborative approach

  • Broadacre and/or horticulture experience will be highly regarded
